Battle of the bands 2002 was a new experience for me as well for most freshman at Homestead High School.  The show consisted  of a great variety in music. From folk music all the way to heavy metal. While being there i got couple of interviews with some of the bands as well:

Interview with ADD
1.) How did you come up with the band name?
A.D.D:  Sang by ten foot pole. 
2.) What is a  unique feature of your band?
A.D.D: we are all white Brothers in the band.
3.) What made you guys want to start a band?
A.D.D: Unknown
4.) Favorite colors?
A.D.D:  Green
5.) What are some of your musical influences?
A.D.D: Prince, Barry Manilow, Queen Latifah, Elton John

6.) Describe the sound music?
A.D.D: Boys Bands

7.) Musical History?
A.D.D: I've played guitar ever since 3rd grade.

8.) What do you see for the future of your band?
A.D.D: Being on Vh1 behind the music the sex sandal.

9.) Would you ever go mainstream?
A.D.D: Yes

10.) Would like to go on an independent label?

A.D.D:  Yes
 
Interview with Poison cowboys
1.)How did you come up with the band name?
PC: It was the first thing that came up on our heads
2.) What is a unique feature of your band?
PC: Our name
3.) What made you guys want to start a band together?
PC: We were bored and after we deiced to play some music

3.) Any favorite colors?
PC: Purple, Yellow
4.) What are some of your musical influences?
PC: Johnny Lang, Willie Porter
5.) Descbire the sound of your music?
PC: Genrally rock/blues
 
 
 
 

Interview with La Lecke Mala (The bad milk)

1.) How did you come up with the band name?
The bad milk: Its means the bad milk, and we chose it because the milk it suppose to be the best, but we are not.... thats sad.

2.) What is the unique band unique?
The bad milk: The beauty of the members and the unique amalgam of instruments.

3.) What made you guys want to start a band?
The bad milk: Physics 
4.) Favorite colors?
The bad milk: milky white
5.) What are some of your musical influences?
The bad milk: Willie from Chile

6.) Describe the sound of your music?
The bad milk: Epic like none other
 

Interview with St Mary woman choir
1.) How did you come up with the band name?
SMWC: Its the name that we always wanted to use
2.) What is the unique feature of your band?
SMWC: 5 good-looking guys
3.) What made you guys want to start a band?
SMWC: We like to play together
4.) Favorite colors?
SMWC: indigo
5.) What are some of your musical influences?
SMWC: Wade braney, Johnny Cash, The smiths,etc
6.) Describe the sound of music?
SMWC: Just plain sexy
7.) Musical history?
SMWC: I played for 7 years and for 5 years
8.) What do you see for the future of your band?
SMWC: Going straight to the top and not looking back
9.)Would you ever go mainstream?
SMWC: no way (yells)
10.) If you ever became famous what would be your first goal?
SMWC: To end world poverty and to get some gold shoes
 
Interview with the haze:

1.) How did you come up with the band name?
The haze: It used to be one of my dads band names
2.) What is a unique feature of your band?
The haze: Its more upbeat than most modern bands
3.) What made you guys want to start a band?
The haze: For me as is and being on stage live
4.) Any favorite Colors?
The haze: Hazel
5.) What are some of your musical influences?
The haze: Bon Jovi, Def Leopard, Van Halen, etc
6.) Desibe to us the sound of your music?
The haze: Pop/rock
